MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT FOR NEW AUSTRALIANS

Moving to a new country can be exciting but also overwhelming, especially if you're navigating it alone. Adjusting to a new culture, finding work, and building a support network can take a toll on mental well-being. That’s why we’re here—to provide guidance, resources, and a compassionate community to help new Australians feel supported and understood.

Workshops

Interactive evidence-based workshops designed to educate individuals on the importance of prioritising their mental health, not only when they first arrive in Australia but also in everyday life.

These workshops are more than just about learning how to care for your mental well-being—they’re designed to make you aware of and connect you with additional support accessible through local community services and resources.

Funded Counselling Sessions

If you are struggling to settle in and are experiencing feelings of anxiety, depression, and lack of motivation, you may find that a genuine conversation with a professional counsellor is beneficial.

We offer funded counselling sessions to help new Australians navigate the emotional challenges of settling into a new country. Our counsellors are here to listen, provide support, and help you build the tools you need to feel more confident and connected in your new home.

Community Funded Activities

There’s no doubt about it—social connection is everything.

Not only does it lead to a longer life, but it can also improve our ability to manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health conditions. With this in mind, we organise, encourage, and support our clients in attending community-focused activities such as beach outings, BBQs, and other recreational events designed to foster social connection.
